The stunning Bay of Islands

Northland, at the top of New Zealand’s north island, is a subtropical area encompassing a rich world of blue ocean, green forests and golden bays and beaches.

The Bay of Islands is one of the most picturesque and popular holiday sites in New Zealand, combining great outdoor experiences with some of New Zealand’s most significant historic sites.

The townships of Kerikeri, Paihia, Russell, Opua and Waitangi make up a large part of the Bay of Islands, which has 144 islands with a multitude of bays and beaches and a truly astounding marine life, including whales, penguins and dolphins.

Northland’s extensive coastline remains wonderfully unspoiled and is a haven for international visitors interested in sightseeing, sailing, diving, game fishing, world class golf and enjoying the beautiful safe beaches. It is simply a beautiful and varied place and the ideal setting for the biggest day of your lives together.

Coming to New Zealand from abroad to get married?

Are you an EU or commonwealth citizen tired of trying to organise permits for your country just to go to get married? New Zealand is a wonderfully simple place to get married.

Most EU and Commonwealth citizens will not require visa to visit for short stays, and provided you have the necessary paperwork (such as English translated documents if required) a marriage licence can usually be obtained in three working days and you can even apply for a marriage licence online.

This can mean that you have the option of organizing the license in advance with us, collecting it when you arrive in the country and enjoying the magnificent Bay of Islands for a few days before and after your wedding. You can get marriage, enjoy a relaxing holiday and be back at home all within in a week.
